There is something ridiculously delightful about knowing a package is coming. Not something you ordered three days ago and promptly forgot about. Something you know is coming every month, but you don’t know exactly what will be inside.

The Apothecary Cabinet is Green Mama’s monthly herbal mystery subscription: a hand-picked collection of 5-7 apothecary goods, herbal curiosities, ritual tools, and small surprises, thoughtfully curated by me and tucked together around the rhythm of the full moon.

Every month. Without fail.

Frankly, that’s more dependable than some boyfriends.

Consider it your monthly invitation to slow down, learn something, light something, steep something, burn something, hold something, or simply take a few moments for yourself. Ultimate self care – with a little mystery attached.

*One thing you can always count on… Every Apothecary Cabinet includes a featured herb pack and its corresponding Herb Knowledge Card. Each month, we’ll explore a different plant – its traditional uses, folklore, history, symbolism, and ways you might incorporate it into your own apothecary practice. Over time, your collection of herbs grows. So does your collection of knowledge. And eventually, you’ve begun building a little apothecary cabinet of your own!

Beyond the featured herb, each month’s Cabinet will contain a rotating assortment of surprises. No two months need to look exactly alike, and that’s part of the fun. You may discover things like:
~ an oracle, affirmation, Whispers of Why, or other card chosen for guidance, reflection or meditation
~ a seasonal simmer kit
~ a hand- poured ritual candle
~ a mini bar of Green Mama soap
~ a small crystal, stone or even charm
~ spell jar filled with salts, herbs, crystals or even a tiny rolled up intention
~ so many little apothecary treasures!

Every Cabinet contains 5-7 items, with something for herbal learning, something for reflection or guidance, and a changing assortment of apothecary treasures to discover.

Some things will be useful. Some beautiful. Some strange. Some tiny. Some may send you down an entirely new rabbit hole.

If you’ve ever spent a littel time in my studio, or stood around chatting with me while I showed you whatever happens to be brewing, steeping, infusing, or growing – you probably already know that the moon finds its way into a whole lot of what I do.

There are jars of tinctures that begin under one moon and aren’t ready until another. Herbs growing outside that I’m watching and watiging to harvest. Salves and infusions in various stages of becoming. Moonshade potions made beneath the moon. There always seems to be something around here whose timing is tied to the lunar cycle. So when I started dreaming up The Apothecary Cabinet, a regular calendar-month subscription just didn’t feel quite right. OF COURSE, the Cabinet would follow the moon!

Each collection is curated around the approaching full moon and planned to arrive at least five days before it, giving you time to open your Cabinet, explore what I’ve tucket inside, learn about that month’s herb, and decie what – if anything – you’d like to carry with you into the full moon.

And because each full moon has its own name, season history, and folklore, you’ll know exactly which moon your Cabinet is arriving for.

Our very first Apothecary Cabinet will arrive for The Harvest Moon, September 26, 2026.
*Order by the 10th to receive this month’s moon box. Orders received after the 10th will begin with the following moon cycle.
