Learn how to confidently brew your own kombucha at home in this hands on fermentation workshop designed for beginners and curious home brewers alike. Kombucha is a naturally fizzy, probiotic-rich tea that supports but health and digestion. Once you understand the process, it becomes an easy, affordable staple you can make again and again.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the full brewing cycle from start to finish, including how to safely work with a SCOBY, how fermentation actually works, and how to flavor your kombucha once it’s ready. You’ll leave with the knowledge to continue brewing on your own, troubleshoot common issues, and build consistency with each batch.

This class is focused on simplicity, confidence, and real-life application – no experience needed!

Kombucha is more than just a trendy drink; it’s a living food rich in probiotics that can support digestion and overall gut balance. Learning to brew it yourself gives you control over ingredients, flavor, and fermentation strength, while also connecting you to a simple, traditional food-making practice.

Please choose from the available workshop dates and times. You have registered and reserved a spot once you have completed the checkout process. Space is limited to keep the experience hands-on and personal. All materials and ingredients are provided.

 

Workshop Policy

All workshop registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to a future class with at least 48 hours notice. By registering, participants acknowledge they are responsible for following all instructions and using proper food safety practices at home. Green Mama Soaps is not responsible for misuse of materials or individual reactions to ingredients. Workshops may include ingredients such as grains, herbs, and fermented cultures. Please notify us of any allergies prior to attending. These workshops are designed for ages 16 and up. Younger makers (12-15) are welcome with a participating adult. To keep workshops interactive and engaging, a minimum number of participants is required. If a class does not meet this minimum, you will be offered the option to transfer your registration to a future date or receive a workshop credit.
